How can I be sure that the domain I requested was registered in my name?

After the registration is complete, you will receive an email confirming your domain ownership. You can also access your customer area in order to confirm whether your name has been added to the domain management section.

Why does my domain still show up as available even after I have registered it?

Your domain is registered immediately but it can take up to 24 hours for it to appear as assigned to a whois (owner). Once you receive a confirmation email from Inventa International, you can be sure that the domain has been registered in your name.

Can I cancel a registration after having completed it?

Once the registration process is initiated, it cannot be interrupted or cancelled. It is, therefore, essential that you choose your domain with very special attention and care.

For how long is my domain going to be valid?

Your domain must be registered for a period ranging from 1 to 10 years. If you choose just 1 year, you will have to renew your domain every year in order to keep it valid. If you choose a longer period, your domain will be active and valid during that chosen period.

Can I sell a domain I have registered?

Yes, as soon as you have registered a domain, you can sell it or give it whatever purpose you wish, provided that all costs have been paid and there’s not a situation of legal breach.

I don't use my domain anymore - can I cancel the registration and request a refund?

Once the registration process is complete, you can’t cancel or request a refund, and it will be valid for the period of time you have chosen. There is no entitlement to refunds or reimbursements.

How and when will I be informed of the need to renew my registration?

Six months before your domain expires, Inventa International starts to send you a monthly email notification. We also send you a final alert email on the expiring day - which makes it essential for you to inform us if you’ve changed your email address.

My domain has expired. Can I renew it?

If you let your domain expire by accident, our team can renew it before it is eliminated or its expiration is made public. There is a period of 30 days after the expiration date, in which you can renew your domain. All you have to do is contact us and we will initiate the process.

What happens if I don't renew my domain before the deadline for renewal?

Your domain will be removed from the list of registered domain servers 3 to 14 days after its expiration date. This means that all type of activity will be blocked (e-mails, storage, URLs, etc.). However, there is a grace period which lasts for 30 days after the domain expires, during which it is always possible to renew the registration by paying an additional fee set by the relevant entities. Once the 30-day grace period has lapsed, the name is removed and it becomes available for registration again.
