Labsummit 2026

LabSummit 2026 took place from 7 to 9 May at Convento São Francisco in Coimbra (Portugal), bringing together more than a thousand participants from several countries in one of the leading international forums dedicated to scientific innovation, technology, and the laboratory sector. The event stood out for the exchange of knowledge between researchers, companies, and specialists, featuring a program of conferences, thematic sessions, workshops, and networking spaces focused on topics such as digital transformation, sustainability, and artificial intelligence.

Inventa was present at the event, represented by Susana Rodrigues, Patent Consultant, who led the workshop “Would my invention be patentable? What requirements should I care about?”, where the main requirements for patentability and best practices for protecting inventions were discussed. Luís Caixinhas, Patent engineer, was also present, providing specialized advice on industrial property strategies and the importance of intellectual property protection.
