Biomeet 2026

Biomeet 2026, the annual meeting of Portugal's biotechnology sector, took place on September 23 and 24 at the Taguspark Conference Centre in Lisbon, bringing together stakeholders from Portugal and abroad for two days of knowledge sharing, networking and business development.

The programme addressed key topics for the sector, including the EU Biotech Act, building world-class biotech ecosystems in Portugal, translating science into commercial impact, AI-driven biotechnology and precision medicine, rare disease therapeutics, and intellectual property and licensing strategies.

Inventa was represented by Ana Neves, Patent Consultant, and Luís Caixinhas, Patent Engineer, who met with startups, researchers and companies at our stand to discuss how effective IP strategies can protect and drive biotech innovation.
