SME Fund 2026: Applications Open for Vouchers 1 to 4

On February 2nd the application period for SME Fund will open, an initiative implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) with the aim of helping small and medium-sized enterprises with the protection of IP rights. 
 

Funds are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. SMEs may apply for each of the following reimbursement vouchers:

Voucher 1 - IP Scan / IP Scan Enforcement: Reimbursement of 90% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of €1,620 per SME.

Voucher 2  - Trademark and design registrations:

• National, regional, and EU applications: Reimbursement of 75% of fees, up to a maximum of €700 per SME.
• International applications: Reimbursement of 50% of fees, up to a maximum of €700 per SME.

Voucher 3 - National and European patents:

• National patents: Reimbursement of 75% of application and search fees, up to a maximum of €1,000 per SME.
• European patents: Reimbursement of 75% of application and search fees and 50% of other official fees, up to a maximum of €2,500 per SME.

Voucher 4 - Plant varieties: Reimbursement of 75% of EU application fees, up to a maximum of €1,500 per SME.
