Unified IP Summit/1st PMAC Dispute Resolution Forum

Vítor Palmela Fidalgo, Partner and Attorney at Law at Inventa,  and member of the Committee of Experts of the Patent Mediation and Arbitration Centre (PMAC) of the Unified Patent Court (UPC), will attend the official PMAC Inauguration Ceremony, taking place on 1 and 2 June 2026 in Ljubljana (Slovenia).

The inauguration forms part of the Unified IP Summit 2026, organised by the PMAC of the UPC and hosted by the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana. The Summit will also feature the 1st PMAC Dispute Resolution Forum and a mock proceedings session.

Since 2024, Vítor has been actively involved in the development of the PMAC, contributing to the drafting of the arbitration and mediation rules, the framework for the selection of arbitrators and mediators, and the preparation of model dispute resolution clauses.
