During the last week of April, Inventa participated in two key events focused on promoting Intellectual Property in Luanda, Angola.
On April 23, the Inventa team attended the Intellectual Property Seminar, a joint initiative by the Ministry of Culture, through SENADIAC, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, through IAPI. Held under the theme “Authors and Inventors: The Force that Builds an Innovative Angola”, the event aimed to foster dialogue and raise awareness about the importance of protecting Copyright and Industrial Property through expert-led lectures and roundtable discussions.
On April 25, the 5th Angolan Intellectual Property Congress took place, co-organized by Ponto de Vista and the Angolan Intellectual Law Association (AADI), with the support of Inventa as a sponsor. The congress focused on the “Efficient Legal Solutions for the Promotion and Protection of Angola’s Startup Ecosystem.” Daniel Reis Nobre, Managing Partner at Inventa, spoke on the relevance of trademark registration and patent development as strategic tools for entrepreneurs and startup growth in the region.
