AIPPI World Congress 2026

The AIPPI World Congress was held in Hamburg, Germany, from 7 to 10 October, gathering IP practitioners, in-house counsel, judges and policymakers from more than 100 countries.

Daniel Reis Nobre and Vítor Palmela Fidalgo represented Inventa at the Congress. This year’s programme covered the latest developments in patents, trademarks and copyright, with a focus on litigation and enforcement trends, international harmonization efforts, and the growing influence of technology and globalization on IP systems worldwide. The Congress also hosted its committee sessions, where members debated current IP issues and voted on positions that will inform future international policy recommendations.

The Congress also brought together clients and partners from around the world to discuss the challenges and priorities shaping the IP landscape.
