Workshop: ARIPO Online Services Sensitization Mission

Amélia Simbine and Edson Amosse, from the Inventa Mozambique team, were invited by IPI - Instituto da Propriedade Industrial to participate in the ARIPO Online Services Awareness Workshop, held on May 19, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Mozambique, as part of ARIPO’s official mission to the country.

The session addressed the strategic framework of Intellectual Property in Mozambique, the benefits of the ARIPO regional system, and the procedures for trademark registration and granting, with a special focus on the digital transformation of IP services.

ARIPO’s Online Services represent a significant step forward in the modernization of processes, enabling electronic filing, application tracking, and online payments in a more efficient, secure, and streamlined manner.

Digitalization continues to play a key role in strengthening the protection and management of Intellectual Property assets across the African continent.
