ECTA Autumn Meeting

This October, the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA) will hold its Autumn Meeting in Porto, Portugal, on 15 - 16 October 2026. 

Open exclusively to ECTA Supervisory Board and Committee members, the Autumn Meeting is a smaller, more focused gathering, designed to encourage close networking and the exchange of expertise within the ECTA community. Vítor Palmela Fidalgo, Partner and Attorney at Law, will represent Inventa at the meeting, joining fellow members in Porto for two days of discussion and collaboration.

A highlight of this year's program is the workshop "Self-defence class: Protecting one's name, image and likeness." The session will cover the full lifecycle of these rights, from prosecution, including registering a name or appearance as a trade mark, through to post-grant matters such as use and enforcement.
