ECTA 2026

ECTA Conference 2026 has once again proven to be an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen professional relationships, and discuss the evolving landscape of intellectual property.

Held in Dublin from 17 to 19 June, the conference brought together IP professionals from across Europe and beyond, including private practitioners, in-house counsel, public authorities, and members of ECTA's various committees.

Alongside the plenary sessions, the conference also featured meetings of the ECTA committees. As a member of the Mediation Committee, Vítor Palmela Fidalgo participated in the committee meeting and in a mediation workshop based on a simulated case, highlighting the growing importance of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in intellectual property matters. During the committee meeting, Vítor also presented updates on PMAC and shared highlights from the recent event held in Slovenia.

It was a pleasure to reconnect with colleagues, clients, and friends, and we look forward to continuing these valuable discussions.
