Regional Patents
Protect your Patents with Euroasia
One single patent application, in a single language (Russian) provides protection in all member states.
The Eurasian Patent Convention (1995) created the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) and allows a granted patent to be valid across all member states, which have one the working language which is Russian.
To obtain aRF Eurasian patent it is only necessary one single application at EAPO, with Russian translation. Afterwards, EAPO conducts a search to the state of the art and a substantive examination in order to grant the patent. After granting, the holder should choose in which member states he wishes to maintain his patent.
