Nigeria launches Compendium of Rulings of Trademarks Tribunal

Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment Commercial Law Department Trademarks Registry recently announced the publication of the first Compendium of Rulings of Trademarks Tribunal.

The 664-page Compendium sets out a set of decisions taken in opposition proceedings and it is commercialized for approximately 100 dollars. With this publication it will be easier for trademark agents and owners to devise a stronger strategy, not only for defending their trademarks in opposition proceedings, but also for drawing better strategies for trademark searches and registration.
